A group insurance plan covering hospital benefits, physician's benefits and major medical benefits is available, through the diocese, to all certificated personnel.  The diocese reserves the right to change the carrier and/or coverage during the term of this contract.

The parish/school will pay family and single coverage for the teacher's health and life insurance benefits according to the terms of the diocesan plan.  If the diocese changes the premium payment plan or the standard of coverage during the term of this contract, the Confederation may reopen negotiations with the parish/school on only this article.  The Confederation is to give the pastor/pastor delegate a letter requesting to reopn negotiations after said notice of change by the diocese.  Negotiations will begin within twenty (20) working days of the receipt of the Confederation letter.
