Current Contract - Article 11 - Association Representation

A.  In the event a teacher is asked to attend a meeting with the Principal that may result in disciplinary action, the teacher shall have the right to be accompanied by a representative of the Association.

B.  The Association may designate a teacher to receive all notices from the School on behalf of the members of the bargaining unit.

C.  The Association may hold meetings on School premises, provided these meetings are scheduled outside the normal School day and do not conflict with the exercise of duties by the teachers or other School activities. The Association shall give notice of such meetings to the Principal at least three (3) days in advance of the meeting. Upon prior notice to the School, representatives of an organization affiliated with the Association may participate in Association meetings.

D.  The School shall provide a bulletin board which may be utilized by the Association.

E.  The School shall provide adequate lounge and lavatory facilities for teachers. Adequate classroom supplies as determined by the Principal shall be provided to the teachers.

F.  Each teacher shall be assigned an individual mailbox. Mail received for the teacher shall be placed in this mailbox. The Association shall have the right to place Association materials in the teacher mailboxes, provided these materials bear the Association letterhead or the name of an Association representative.
