Teachers who work at least on a 3/5 basis or more will be eligible to participate in the Archdiocese of Boston, Transition Assistance Program. A summary description of the Program is attached as Appendix "C".

In cases where a teacher, laid off due to lack of work, has received severance payments, then that teacher is entitled to $75 per week rather than to the program weekly payment amount for the length of time the teacher is unemployed up to the maximum allowable period. Teachers not receiving severance will receive a weekly payment in accordance with the new program.

The weekly payment benefits for teachers commences in September of each year for eligible teachers who are unemployed as of September 1.
