Boston Archdiocesan Teachers Association
Current Contract - Article XXI - Dues Deduction

1. The Corporation agrees to deduct from the salaries of its employees dues for the Boston Archdiocesan Teachers Association, National Association of Catholic School Teachers, or any one of such associations as said teachers individually and voluntarily authorize the Corporation to deduct, and to transmit the monies promptly to the Treasurer of the Boston Archdiocesan Teachers Association.

2. Teacher authorization for such deductions will be made on the "Payroll Deduction Authorization Form". Said form is worded as follows:

I hereby authorize the Archdiocesan Central High School of the Central High Schools, Inc. to deduct my professional dues annually, until further notice. The amount of such dues shall be certified by the Association Treasurer prior to October of each school year.

The deductions shall be made in accordance with the Agreement between the Boston Archdiocesan Teachers Association and the Corporation. All dues shall be remitted to the Treasurer of the Boston Archdiocesan Teachers Association who shall be bonded. I agree that at least sixty (60) days' notice, in writing, shall be given to the Corporation to withdraw this authorization.

3. The deductions referred to in Section 1 of this Article will be made in equal installments on the second pay day of each month during the school year. The Corporation will not be required to honor for any month's deduction any authorizations that are delivered to it later than two (2) weeks prior to the distribution of the payroll from which the deductions are to be made.
