1. The Archdiocesan Central High Schools of the Central High Schools, Inc. or its Successor Body recognizes the Association for purposes of collective bargaining as the exclusive representative of a unit consisting of all regularly appointed lay professional teaching and counseling employees of the Archdiocesan Central High Schools of the Central High Schools, Inc. or its Successor Body hereinafter referred to as the corporation.

2. Unless otherwise indicated, the employees in the above unit will be hereinafter referred to as teachers, and such reference is made equally to male teachers and female teachers.

3. The schools specifically covered under the terms of this Agreement are: Archbishop Williams High School, Braintree; Bishop Fenwick High School, Peabody; Cardinal Spellman High School, Brockton; Cathedral High School, Boston; Marian High School, Framingham; Matignon High School, Cambridge; North Cambridge Catholic High School, Cambridge; Pope John XXIII High School, Everett; and St. Clare High School, Boston.

4. Subject to the provisions of this contract, the Corporation will not discriminate against any teacher on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, sex, marital status, age or participation in or association with the activities of the Association.
