SECTION A
If a school maintains a personnel file of teachers, the teacher shall have the right to examine his/her file at any time upon request, in the presence of an administrator.

SECTION B
No anonymous communications shall be placed in the personnel file of any teacher. All other forms of communication must be
presented to and reviewed by the teacher at the teacher's request. The teacher has the right to enclose an answer to such presentations and obtain a dated copy of all material appearing in said file.

SECTION C
The personnel file shall remain strictly confidential; only the teacher, the principal, and the Director of Education have access to the file.

SECTION D
No other party may have information from a teacher's file without written authorization from the teacher.

SECTION E
Any communication of a disciplinary nature against a teacher which is placed in a teacher's personnel file shaH be reviewed at least annually by the teacher concerned and the local administrator and may be removed upon a determination that the circumstances and causes giving rise to the communication have been removed.
